Old Maps — Returns & Refunds Policy
At Old Maps, we stand behind the quality of every restored map print we produce. Each piece is carefully prepared and made to order. If your order arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, we’ll make it right.
Return Window
Please contact us within 30 days of delivery if there is a problem with your order.
Damaged, Defective, Misprinted, or Incorrect Items
If your map print arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery.
How to report an issue:

Include clear photographs showing the problem and, when relevant, the packaging.

We’ll review your request within 1–2 business days.

If your claim is approved, you may choose a free replacement or a full refund to your original payment method.
Refund Timing
Approved refunds are issued within 2 business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, the refund may take approximately 3–5 business days to appear in your account.
Replacement Orders
Approved replacements are generally prepared within 3–7 business days, plus shipping time.
Return Address
Please do not send your order back without contacting us first.
Because our products may be fulfilled through different production centers depending on your location, we will provide the correct return address after your return request has been reviewed.
Made-to-Order Products & Change-of-Mind Returns
Our map prints are produced individually after an order is placed. For this reason, we do not accept returns for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or incorrect size selection.
Please carefully review the dimensions, format, material, and product details before placing your order.
Items are not eligible for return due to:

Change of mind

Buyer’s remorse

Ordering the wrong size or format

Items that have been hung, framed, displayed, used, altered, or damaged after delivery

Items removed from their original packaging unless necessary to inspect a reported defect
Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 3 hours of purchase by emailing oldmapsstudio@gmail.com with your order number.
After this period, your order may already have entered production and cancellation may no longer be possible.
Lost or Missing Orders
If your order has not arrived within 30 days after the estimated delivery date, please contact us. We’ll investigate the shipment and determine the appropriate solution.
International Orders
We ship internationally.
If a physical return is required, return shipping costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless the product arrived damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect.
We will provide the appropriate return address when your request is approved.
Condition Required for Approved Returns
Unless the item is being returned because it arrived damaged or defective, approved returned products must be:

Unused and undamaged

In their original packaging

Accompanied by the order information or packing slip
Historical Map Variations
Many artworks offered by Old Maps originate from historical documents that may naturally contain characteristics such as aged paper texture, faded areas, printing irregularities, original marks, antique typography, or other features present in the source material.
These historical characteristics are part of the artwork and are not considered printing defects.
Product images are intended to represent the final artwork as accurately as possible, although slight differences in color may occur between screens and printed materials.
Returns & Fulfillment
Orders may be produced by different fulfillment centers depending on the product and destination. For this reason, returns must not be sent to an address found on the original shipping label unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
